RE-REGISTER YOUR SIM WITH GHANA CARD FROM OCTOBER 1ST, OR WE BLOCK YOU PERMANENTLY...... COMMUNICATION MINISTER.
Report convened has it that the minister of communication, Hon Ursula Owusu has reiterated government has given a period for Ghanaians to re-register their SIM cards with Ghana Card and anyone who fails to do so, his or her SIM within that period will get the sim blocked permanently.
Government has made this known since the beginning of 2021, and has come again to remind the citizens.
Speaking in a press briefing today, September 5th, 2021, Hon Ursula Owusu Ekufful said that barring any unforeseen circumstances, SIM card registration will start in October 1st, 2021 for a six month period and end on 31st March 2022. She added that any SIM which is not registered within this exercise will be blocked.
