INAUGURATION OF COOPERATIVE UNION AND CHED COCOBOD DISTRICT.
The reginal cooperative union director Mr. Richard Mensah and executive director of CHED COCOBOD Dr. Emmanuel Nii Tackie Otoo, and other district cocoa officers inaugurated cooperative union and CHED COCOBOD in Bosome Freho district.
When the regional cooperative director Mr Richard Mensah addressing the public said, if this cooperative must endure, they have to be unite and be transparent and therefore be accountable to each other.
He continue that, the farmers and the extension officers should go with the laws govern their cooperative to achieve their aims.

The director of CHED COCOBOD, Dr. Emmanuel Nii Tackie Otoo, advise all the farmers that, if they want their cocoa to produce much beans, they have to adopt government implementation of the cocoa cross pollination.
He continue that, once they have able to inaugurated cooperative union and CHED COCOBOD in the district today, it will intensified their cocoa production as well because they will not depends on other district.

Some of the farmers also expressed their problems that, Bosome Freho district is largest cocoa production area but in terms of materials like, insecticide, spraying machine, they will use in their farming has become a problem, so the government should come their aid and help them.
